WAYNE, Pa (March 30, 2018) – Ecolane, a leader in transit technology, is proud to announce the successful completion of a five-year initiative with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT). Ecolane is now implemented and functioning across the entire state of Pennsylvania.
Ecolane has installed the first cloud-based scheduling and dispatching software statewide for 42 transportation providers at 51 locations that will not only elevate, but also enhance the efficiency and safety of the paratransit services in Pennsylvania.

Ecolane serves 65 counties in Pennsylvania. Over the course of the project, Ecolane has dispatched more than 6.1 million trips, spanning more than 45 million trip miles.

PennDOT notes that the use of shared scheduling software facilitates service coordination and consolidation while ensuring a cohesive customer experience.
