Transit providers nationwide can quickly and easily procure Ecolane software

Wayne, Pa (April 24, 2019)—Ecolane was awarded the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) contract for transportation software by Region XIV Education Service Center in Abilene, Texas.

Highly coveted, software companies from all over the country competed for this contract.  Because the NCPA enables private and public transit providers to purchase software without going through a lengthy and costly RFP process, Ecolane is now in a position to partner with agencies in need of on-demand transit software solutions more quickly and easily.

“Transit agencies would normally submit an RFP, but the NCPA does all of that legwork for them under a master contract,” explained Ecolane Vice President, Business Development Rex Clark.  “With the NCPA contract, it’s just another way that Ecolane can help agencies save time, money, and resources.”

The NCPA is recognized by the federal government as a bona fide substitution for preparing an RFP from conception and submitting it.  Transit providers only need to be members to take advantage of the organization’s benefits and membership is completely free of charge.

Transit agencies interested in procuring Ecolane products through the NCPA contract only need to contact Ecolane directly to do so.  Those agencies who are not yet members of NCPA can easily register on the official website.  There are no limitations on member eligibility.  Agencies that are K-12, city, county, state, higher education, non-profit, religious-affiliated, etc. can purchase Ecolane through this contract.
